There is only one month left to visit the unique exhibition “Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau” at Art Box Experience in Warsaw’s Norblin Factory. This sensual journey into the world of Art Nouveau will only be available until September 14, 2025, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. For those who have not yet had the opportunity to visit it, this is a unique moment to experience the sensual atmosphere of the Art Nouveau era with all your senses in an immersive form, especially since children and young people can see it free of charge on weekdays until August 29.

The exhibition “Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau” is the first presentation of the artist’s work of its kind in Poland, prepared by Grand Palais Immersif in collaboration with the Mucha Foundation. Presented in an innovative, immersive format, it combines image, sound, and scent to create a sensory experience for visitors. Viewers can see almost 100 works by the master of Art Nouveau – from famous posters featuring Sarah Bernhardt, through interior designs and graphics, to stained glass and jewelry. In one of the rooms, you can also hear the original voice of Alfons Mucha from preserved archival recordings – which gives the whole exhibition an extremely personal and moving character. After successes in Paris and Tokyo, the exhibition has come to Poland for the first time, where it can be seen until September 14.

One of the most distinctive elements of the exhibition is its unique scent layer – a novelty on the Polish exhibition market. The fragrance compositions were created by Marie-Caroline Symard, a renowned perfumer from the French Technicoflor laboratories. The fragrance “Flowers,” inspired by Mucha’s female muses, brings to mind white lilies, daisies, and poppies—motifs often present in his works. Morawy, on the other hand, combining notes of wild rose, violets, and primroses, refers to the artist’s homeland and is a sensual reminder of the place where the monumental Slavic Epic was created.

The scents accompany the immersive visual and audio narrative, creating a coherent whole with the subtle floral scenography. The stylized floral arrangements in the exhibition space refer to Art Nouveau motifs and allow visitors to immerse themselves even more deeply in the aesthetics of the era.

The soundtrack, created in collaboration with Studio Radio France, combines classical sounds with modern arrangements. It is complemented by a fragrance inspired by the perfume that Jacques Guerlain composed in 1900 especially for Sarah Bernhardt, Mucha’s great muse.

Additional attractions have also been prepared for visitors – on September 13 at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., perfume workshops will be held, organized in collaboration with Slou Lab. This is an opportunity to create your own Art Nouveau-inspired fragrance and take it home with you.

A special offer for children and young people has also been prepared for the summer holidays – until August 29, people under the age of 18 can visit the exhibition free of charge from Monday to Friday (accompanied by an adult guardian; one guardian can bring a maximum of three children). As part of the “Dzień dobry, kulturo!” campaign, individual tickets are available from PLN 40 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

This is also the last chance to take home an Art Nouveau souvenir – selected products in the exhibition shop are discounted by up to 50%. Stylish gadgets, posters, and reproductions of Mucha’s works are a beautiful memento of your visit to the world of Art Nouveau.

The exhibition “Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau” not only presents the works of one of the most outstanding artists of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, but also invites you to enter his world with all your senses. It is a unique journey to the Belle Epoque, which will soon come to an end – on September 14, 2025.

On the other days of the week (Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays), Art Box Experience invites guests to the exhibition “Retro Warsaw.” This multisensory journey to the capital of the 1920s and 1930s will only be available until September 9, 2025.
