More than 240 years of the history of one of Warsaw’s most important industrial sites and a fascinating journey to the Polish capital before World War II – all in a single visit. This summer, the Norblin Factory Museum and Art Box Experience have teamed up to offer a combined ticket, allowing visitors to discover two completely different faces of Warsaw at a special promotional price.
From 18 July to 30 August 2026, visitors to Norblin Factory can take advantage of this new combined offer, which presents the history of Warsaw from two unique perspectives. The first explores the authentic heritage of one of the most significant industrial complexes of the former Kingdom of Poland, while the second takes visitors on an immersive journey through Warsaw of the 1920s and 1930s with the “Retro Warsaw” exhibition at Art Box Experience.
The combined ticket is available at a lower price than purchasing admission to both attractions separately, making it one of the most comprehensive historical experiences available in Warsaw this summer.
Two journeys through the city’s history
The experience begins at the Norblin Factory Museum, where visitors join a guided tour titled “Norblin Factory in a Nutshell.” During this one-hour walk, they discover more than 240 years of the site’s history and learn how it contributed to Warsaw’s industrial and economic development.
The tour showcases historic buildings, original machinery, industrial products and the remarkable stories of the people connected with the factory. Visitors follow the transformation of the site—from the royal estate of Franciszek Ryx, through the renowned Norblin, Buch Brothers & T. Werner factory, to one of Poland’s most acclaimed post-industrial revitalisation projects.
The second part of the visit takes place at Art Box Experience, where visitors explore the immersive exhibition “Retro Warsaw.” Using advanced image restoration, colourised archival photographs and films, and monumental multimedia projections, the exhibition transports audiences to Warsaw as it was nearly a century ago. Visitors stroll along cobbled streets, discover the city’s distinctive architecture, experience everyday life before World War II and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of a capital full of culture, commerce and urban energy.
The latest edition of the exhibition introduces several new attractions, including a VR Photoplasticon, offering a three-dimensional journey through pre-war Warsaw, a refreshed space inspired by the legendary Adria nightclub, and the Splendid Cinema, presenting digitally restored archival films from the era.
The exhibition’s soundscape was created by Jan Młynarski, whose carefully reconstructed music and authentic city sounds bring the atmosphere of historic Warsaw vividly back to life.

From 1 July to 31 August 2026, both Art Box Experience and the Norblin Factory Museum offer free admission for children and young people up to the age of 18, allowing families to discover Warsaw’s history together. The promotion is available in accordance with the individual regulations of each attraction.
