At Art Box Experience, we’re celebrating International Women’s Day all weekend long – on 7 and 8 March – with special guided tours of the exhibition “Leonardo versus Michelangelo. The Duel of Renaissance Geniuses.” This is a unique opportunity to explore the history of art through the perspective of the women who inspired artists for centuries – muses, patrons, aristocrats, intellectuals, lovers and partners in creative dialogue.
7 March (Saturday), 6:00 PM – Women of the Renaissance
This evening guided tour for adults begins with a welcome cocktail, creating an intimate and elegant atmosphere for the event.
During the tour, participants will embark on an immersive journey through the world of two Renaissance masters – Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo – while discovering the stories of the women who played an important role in their lives and artistic development.
The narrative combines the analysis of artworks with stories about emotions, relationships and aspirations, presenting the Renaissance as a period of reflection on humanity – its physicality, spirituality and individuality.
Tickets available online.
8 March (Sunday), 4:00 PM – A Renaissance Flower for Women
This guided tour is open to visitors of all ages.
At the end of the visit, each woman will receive a carnation – a symbolic gesture inspired by the Renaissance, when a single flower could convey meaning and emotion.
During the tour, participants will discover how Leonardo and Michelangelo portrayed femininity – from the mystery of a gaze to ideals of beauty and spiritual depth – and how women influenced the development of Renaissance art.
Tickets available online.
Please note:
All guided tours are conducted in Polish only.
Join us for a special weekend where art becomes a story of women’s strength, sensitivity and timeless beauty. We invite you to celebrate with us at Art Box Experience – a place where history, emotion and creativity come together in an unforgettable artistic experience.
