On 28 March, Warsaw’s immersive space Art Box Experience invites you to a unique journey into the world of Art Nouveau. On 800 m² there will be breathtaking projections of works by Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939), the Czech master of Art Nouveau, whose work forever changed art at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

‘Alphonse Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau’ is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the extraordinary aesthetics of the Belle Époque – an era full of elegance, subtlety and symbolism. Mucha’s characteristic compositions, depicting phenomenal women surrounded by floral ornaments and undulating lines, will come to life in a modern, multisensory form.

The exhibition, prepared by the Grand Palais Immersif – one of the most innovative cultural institutions in France – was created in collaboration with the Mucha Foundation. Through the use of advanced audiovisual, interactive and olfactory technologies, visitors will not only see but also feel the spirit of the time. A unique element of the exhibition will be an aroma inspired by Jacques Guerlain’s 1900 perfume created for Sarah Bernhardt – one of Mucha’s muses.

The exhibition will feature a digital version of the artist’s most famous posters, as well as lesser-known works ranging from paintings and prints to architectural designs and jewellery. The whole experience will be complemented by an original soundtrack, developed by Studio Radio France, combining period music with modern arrangements.
