The Dalí Universe exhibition focused on a lesser-known aspect of Dalí’s work – sculpture – and introduced viewers to three-dimensional objects that masterfully combine symbolism, imagination and form. Visitors had the opportunity to see carefully selected works from the collection built up over 45 years by Beniamino Levi, an Italian collector, art dealer and president of the ‘Dalí Universe’ exhibition series.
The entire collection was inspired by Levi’s meetings with Dalí himself, during which the artist shared his visions, philosophy and surrealistic approach to art. Sculptures based on motifs from the paintings of the master of surrealism gave Dalí’s works a new dimension – a three-dimensional form that draws its inspiration from the artist’s paintings. This one of the most important private sculpture collections is known throughout the world and has been exhibited at the Soumaya Museum in Mexico, the Mitsukoshi Museum of Modern Art in Japan, Place Vendôme in Paris, Piazza dell’Academia in Florence, the Time Warner Centre in New York and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, among others.
The works presented at Art Box Experience were made of bronze using the lost wax technique. The casts measured from 18.5 to 150 cm. During the presentation, visitors could admire iconic sculptures such as:

- Death Mask of Napoleon
- Lilith and the Double Victory of Samothrace
- Atavistic Ruins after the Rain
