During the classes, children explore the Renaissance through ideas, inventions, and dreams of the future. They learn about Leonardo da Vinci as an artist and engineer whose designs of flying machines, bridges, and unusual devices were ahead of their time and continue to inspire admiration today.
The lesson is conducted in the form of storytelling combined with active participation. Children observe and interpret visual representations of Leonardo’s projects while moving through the exhibition space. The activities show that curiosity about the world, careful observation, and imagination are the foundations of creative thinking and encourage children to ask questions.
Schools for which the City of Warsaw is the governing body are encouraged to use funding available for classes under the programs “Class in Warsaw. Warsaw with the class” and “Cultural preschooler”.
