Piano concert with Maria Moliszewska – on the occasion of National Independence Day
Maria Moliszewska – piano concert as part of the Romantic Chopin series
Classical meets modern in the immersive space of Art Box Experience
On the occasion of National Independence Day, Art Box Experience at Fabryka Norblina in Warsaw invites you to a unique concert from the ‘Romantic Chopin’ series. Maria Moliszewska, one of the most talented Polish pianists of the younger generation, will perform in an immersive hall, in an exhibition space created in cooperation with the Fryderyk Chopin Institute.
Her interpretations of Fryderyk Chopin’s works are distinguished by their maturity, emotional depth and extraordinary sensitivity, reflecting the spirit of Polish Romanticism and longing for the homeland that permeates the composer’s music.
Maria Moliszewska, born in 2001, is a pianist and chamber musician studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg in the class of Prof. Hubert Rutkowski. She graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and the M. Karłowicz Music School in Krakow. She is a laureate of numerous prestigious piano competitions, including: the Grand Prix of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute at the International Festival ‘Chopin and French Composers’, first place at the International F. Chopin Piano Competition in Szafarnia, and the title of laureate of the Young Artists’ Stage at the Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk.
The artist has performed as a soloist with the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra and many symphony orchestras in Poland and abroad. She has given concerts in Germany, France, Israel and Greece, passionately presenting both classical masterpieces and contemporary works.
Maria Moliszewska’s concert at Art Box Experience is a musical tribute to Fryderyk Chopin – a composer whose work has become a symbol of Polishness, freedom and deep emotionality. His music echoes Polish nature, folk melodies and mazurka rhythms – everything that constitutes the unique character of the national spirit.
This event, where classic meets modern, will fill the immersive Art Box Experience space with sound, image and light, creating an unforgettable artistic experience, perfect for a day celebrating Polish independence.
The concert will be preceded by a guided tour of the exhibition ‘Romantic Chopin’, which will begin at 6 p.m. After the tour, the audience will listen to a recital by Maria Moliszewska in the immersive concert hall.
The combination of the exhibition and the concert is a unique way to pay tribute to Polish culture and the spirit of freedom, which has resounded in Chopin’s music for centuries, on Independence Day.
Please note: the guided tour of the exhibition is conducted in Polish only.
