The exhibition, directed by Magdalena Mikołajczyk, not only recalled famous World Cup moments — from the bronze medals in 1974 and 1982 to the dramatic matches of the 21st century — but also, with the help of immersive technology, allowed viewers to stand on the pitch in the rain with Ernest Wilimowski, defend penalty kicks like Jan Tomaszewski, and even dance the Argentine tango with Jacek Gmoch’s team. In this space, sport, history, and art came together to tell the story of triumphs and defeats and pride in the white and red colors.
A multisensory journey through football history. Sport, art, and emotions in the immersive Art Box Experience exhibition.
In the fall of 2022, Art Box Experience brought to life a unique, multisensory exhibition entitled “Poland at the World Cup – let’s relive it,” transporting viewers to the heart of the most important moments in Polish football. Thanks to intense visual effects and joint efforts with the Polish Football Library and the Polish Football Association, the excitement surrounding the national team’s performances resounded with new force at the Norblin Factory.
